Approve a Submitted Parts Return

Authorized PDC users have the ability to approve submitted parts returns for dealerships within their PDC permissions. To approve a parts return, the return must be in "Submitted" status.

Warning

Approving the parts return cannot be undone.

To approve a submitted parts return:

Select the parts return you want to approve.
Note: The parts return must be in "Submitted" status.

Move your cursor over the Action icon.

From the Action menu, select the Approve Return menu option.
Note: The Approve Part Return dialog box appears.

In the PDC Return Due Date field, use the calendar to select the date by which parts must be returned to the PDC.
Note: The return due date must be a weekday at least one day past the current date.
Note: Holidays are excluded from the return due date calendar.

Click the Yes button to confirm the approval, or click the No button to close the dialog box without approving the return.
